Recorded 17th November 2007 at St Mary's Church, Philadelphia.

November 2007 finds RMI back in Philadelphia for their third visit to The Gatherings Concert Series, and another chance to play before the discerning and appreciative audience at St Mary's.

Once again they are heard here improvising 100% of the music resounding around the church, with no map, and some unfamiliar equipment. One of the lesser known performances in the RMI discography it rewards a fresh listen revealing hitherto uncharted territory and a deep sense of exploration, along with a few rough edges. Unlike many of their live performances, this has not been edited, as the whole performance seemed to be crying out to be heard. Yes there is a struggle to keep things in tune at times ("tuning a Mellotron doesn't" R.Fripp) but this is ultimately all part of the authenticity of an RMI live performance presented here in full.
