In 1997 Synth Music Direct supremo David Law had the bright idea of staging a concert where for a price the attendees were also given a copy of the concert highlights on CD-R shortly after the event (or at least as quickly as we could edit and duplicate it). This was well before streaming, downloads and virtual concert tickets and was quite cutting edge for the time (26 years ago). The original CD became much sought after, as there were only ever about 35 of them, and their exclusivity was preserved for many a year. Until 2007 in fact, when it was reissued in the form you see here on the early download site MusicZeit.

This is the whole concert from that Sunday afternoon in Bloomsbury, London, where we played a leisurely 3 sets on an early spring day. We had DJs between sets, a live lightshow and it was a wonderful social occasion in perfect surroundings. As well as the CD subscribers we had a chance to show some of our London pals what it is that we actually do, and the carpets and cushions scattered on the gallery floor added a lovely casual ambience to the whole affair.

A day to remember.
